St Modwen selected Newbody Fitness to design, deliver and maintain its fitness facility to attract new home buyers and service the fitness needs of the local community.
Objectives
St Modwen needed a gym provider that had the expertise to deliver the optimum solution on-time and within budget; Newbody Fitness was briefed to design an innovative club that would attract new home buyers to Meon Vale and enable the leisure club to operate as a successful membership business.
Gym Design & Planning
As well as designing the optimum layout with distinct zones for cardio and free-weight workouts, Newbody Fitness created an inviting workout space that would appeal to the target market; it was also critical to maximize the use of the available space and include a functional fitness zone.
Selection of Fitness Equipment
Newbody Fitness needed to select the right type of equipment for the user target market, as well as the best equipment manufacturer. St Modwen was able to choose from a selection of the best brands available at the right budget cost; the Life Fitness Discover range was chosen, along with Impulse Dual-action machines and Sterling free-weights machines.
